One thing you absolutely need to master, if you want to manifest your dreams is believing in yourself. Without confidence and certainty that what you want will absolutely happen, you won’t see the results you want to see.
For those of you who are new here, welcome to “Chasing Dreams” a series that teaches you how to live a happier and healthier life. Every month I share some insights into my past two weeks and share with you not only what I’ve been up to but more importantly what I’ve learned though life and everything that has happened. I reflect on those lessons and see how they’ve helped me to become happier, healthier and closer to my dreams.
Sharing those experiences with you I hope to give you some guidance and inspiration on how you too can see those little lessons life is teaching us every day and take those opportunities as a chance to enhance change and consciousness.
I hope that through my story and my experiences throughout the weeks you get new input and maybe a heads up when you need it to keep going with your passions, see the bright side of life and share this positivity across your tribe. I will tell you what I’ve learned about life and happiness and give you inspiration on how to deal with all the ups and downs every one of us has in their lives. It really is all about being real, being authentic and showing that no matter what, there’s always a way to see things positively and take them as an opportunity to learn and grow and create more happiness.
What a couple months it’s been friends. It feels like this year is forever old yet just only started. I totally lost track of time which makes it hard sometimes to stay patient and on track with manifesting my dreams. I know for a fact, that a lot of you guys have experienced the same. This lack of motivation and inspiration when it comes to doing things. There is just not enough perspective, no reason to work harder or faster because what are we getting from it. We can’t even use that time we gained since there’s not much to do after work these days.
Anyway, enough rant. Time to share with you what I learned on the journey of creating my dream life so that you too can implement those lessons and start believing in yourself.
There were a few things around manifestation and self-confidence that I learned and got reminded of again and because they were so life changing for me I need to share them with you.
One thing that is absolutely key when it comes to manifestation is that certainty. That knowing that no matter where you are and where life takes you, what you want will happen.
I don’t know when exactly it happened or if it was only that certain topic but at some point, I stopped believing that good things would happen to me. Maybe I just had too much shit happening that I stopped having that faith. But it didn’t take long for me to understand that this new belief wasn’t serving me well. I was planning on going on a trip in February and I really wanted it. But I didn’t believe its gonna happen and so it didn’t happen.
What did I learn from that? Believing in yourself and your dreams matters. And you need to have that positive expectancy even if all odds stand against you.
Like I just said, believing in yourself is so important, but not just on the level of your dreams but this deep down core belief that you are worthy and that you deserve what you desire. Going about your day with confidence, talking about what you want with confidence, talking about what you do with confidence is crucial to signal the universe that this is what needs to happen. It will also help you with taking action and showing up for your dreams and your goals.
The single most easiest step to start believing in yourself is to go back to a time when you felt really confident and then embody that feeling and pretend like that’s how you always feel. Because truly, you can always feel that way if you choose to.

Another thing that goes along with believing in yourself is to take yourself and your goals seriously. Whether they are personal or professional if you don’t treat them like real business that needs to be done and are sure that you can do it you will most likely end up not taking the action that needs to be done in order for the goal to get achieved and thus you won’t achieve it. So, don’t put pressure on yourself or that goal of yours, but take it seriously, make it a priority and show up for it in the best possible way.
Aside of all the confidence and self-worth talk here there were a couple other things I needed to understand the past couple months.
I KNOW. This is such an uncomfortable topic to talk about but really, why are so many people having those money mindset issues (me included)? I feel like we all have our own little struggle with money, some believe they don’t have enough and aren’t worthy of making more, others believe they mustn’t care about it and throw it out of the window (more or less). Gosh there are soooo many misconceptions and limiting beliefs around money, it would take me weeks and tons of research to uncover all of them. Yet I truly believe that no matter what issue you have with money this one belief can change a lot for you. Money is energy, like time, we trade it for all sorts of things. If it was possible to get all that we need to survive without money we would be fine. Yet in today’s day and age money is trade those things for money (which is totally okay). But it means that ultimately, we all need money to make our dreams come true and by giving money to someone else (through buying something we need or want for example) we help them make their dreams come true. So, next time you feel uncomfortable giving or asking for money keep that in mind. It’s just a way of showing someone how much you believe in them and their dreams.
Lastly, as some of you may know, I am a recovering perfectionist and a total high performer so being productive and high achieving has always been in my blood and its soo hard to get it out there. You might wonder now, why I would want to since its considered something great to be productive and high performing. Those are always the people that are most wanted in companies and most highly rated in society. BUT GUYS, IT IS EXHAUSTING! I might be more productive, more resilient and more high achieving than the average person but I am also just human. I need breaks too.
So, for me once again another layer of that needed to be covered and some limitations redefined. I was kinda obsessed with my calendar because that was my number one tool to manage and measure time and productivity, so I decided to drop that. I am still using my calendar but in a better way, just for time blocking and appointments. My new measurement of productivity is a productivity list which is basically all the things I want and need to get done that day but it is not a maximum approach but a minimum approach. Because I know myself, I’ll do more anyway.
Second I started going more with the flow and allow myself to switch off work mentally as well and put less pressure on myself to work a certain amount of hours but just let the day flow and see what I can get achieved. It’s been working well so far.
